Thorne Hills Golf Course is a Public 8 hole golf course located in Carleton, Michigan.
Thorne Hills Golf Course opened in 1982. The course was designed by Dan and Rosalie Thorne.
Thorne Hills Golf Course has narrow fairways lined with pine and maple trees that can alter your shots. The sloping greens can be very fast, particularly when it's dry. There is a signature hole island green.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 5,827 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,524 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 628 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 136 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 10, a 628 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 3, a 136 yard par-3.

The lay out on some of the holes are darn right not fair. there is a par 5 on the back nine that is a dog leg left. Your tee shot has tobe about 280 to have a shot toward the green if not a layup is the second shot of choice. on the front nine I beleive its number two hole. ditch in front with large trees the full width of fair way shooting to a small green. Not a course I would recomend playing, but there seem to be alot of folks out on a misty rainy day.
